Applause Vadodara is Vadodara's first and most unique theatre initiative, giving a voice to theatre aspirants and professionals across age groups and backgrounds to explore drama and share perspective. Applause is a platform as well as a collective, founded in 2014, bringing to stage contemporary, devised and entertaining productions, over and above various other core art engagement programs running through the year.
Artists and facilitators from Applause Vadodara have performed across the nation, at various festivals, and have been part of numerous national and international collaborations.

Apsara Iyengar
Founder & Director
A mentor and theatre practitioner for over 12 years, Apsara travels the country as a theatre facilitator across universities, schools and festivals. She is a regular writer for Theatre Gym London, a key facilitator for Playback Nigeria's International Theatre Festival, and a published microfiction author with Half Baked Beans.
